I don't think there's much difference visually at all, but from the 2nd panel to the last, I actually changed inking tools and used the nib pens I have (instead of unipen and brushpens). I had fun! And didn't screw it up too badly, haha!
(though I did have to erase some big inky blotches here and there!)

ah, the joys of trying to find someone to take care of your pet when you go away. Such a pleasure. Never stressful :D
I'm exploring and having fun with colored pencils and inking with a real brush (instead of the pen brush I always use to ink; tombow Fudenosuke). I bought a cheap thin brush and tried it out with this Lillian ink. It lacks precision but otherwise is nice to use, so I'll look out for a better quality brush when I have the money!

Yay! I finally took some time to draw for fun, and explore with colored pencilling, which I never do! But I've been wanting to try it out!
It cheered me up, to draw and color these two lovemaking, haha <3
(Plus, it's so nice to just be able to take a photo of it and not have to scan & edit a drawing... I did apply a little "blossom" filter via my phone to bring out the warm co...
I'm a little behind on work, life and stuff got busy these last days, hope to catch up asap and feed you patrons some harlivy soon!
phew, finally finished this page! It doesn't happen often, but sometimes (at the start of a chapter especially), I have moments when I need extra time to get back to it. Especially if it's a room full of objects in a mess, haha.
But this is no laughing matter! We have a bearded and depressed Emile on our hands, and he forgot about the plants!!!
A little time skip... (don't worry we'll be having plenty of flashbacks in this chapter)

I had fun drawing this cute wittle guy<3 (it's a European filed cricket singing, with his wings open like that!)
edit: oops made a typo for "field cricket"
Inked this doodle entirely with a School G (nikki) nib pen and a brush to color in the grays. No digital edits, as you can see (haha, thanks ink blotches). It was fun!!
