Hyeokmiyeong: Swimsuit Date

I changed my Wacom pen pressure sensitivity to color this and it was a big help. There was a less strain on my wrist which is awesome!

Also it's still sweltering hot here so had to draw this naughty couple in a swimsuit! Hyeoksoo likes to squeeze Miyeong's love handles, much to her annoyance.. will probably receive a scolding later.

Today is Korean National Liberation Day so I decided to draw my Korean oc couple, Hyeok Soo and Miyeong, in period clothing. Reference used from Mister Sunshine.

TMI: the Korean pronunciation of the couple name, HyeokMiyoeng, is also the same as the word revolution which I think is pretty fitting for today.

I was debating between drawing something smutty and drawing something story-oriented. I decided to go with both but not sure if it satisfied either part.. still, it was a good practice drawing a color webcomic once again! I've been taking webtoon classes and I think it definitely helped.

Drew a short comic to show how Ryurong speaks. The Chinese sayings are a bit tricky to translate but I hope it emphasizes his archaic tone. I also recently read some wuxia novels so this au event is an opportunity to use all these Asian phrases!
