I ended up using this color scheme. It was hard to make this almost-monochromatic-color-scheme using yellow, especially when I need to express Rien's steed which is dark grey colored. Yellow is a warm color that we usually apply for highlights so it's a bit tricky to use it for dark color.

WIP: April wallpaper

Colored sketch. I still want to change the color. I want it to leave "unreal" and "dreamy" feels. But I don't want it too be too calm or pleasant. Because if this scene appears in Rien's dream, it won't be a pleasant one.
