I've started rendering the first match of Week 2. The wrestling matches are, by far, the longest and most tedious things to render. Almost every shot takes posing at least 2 characters in ways that require a whole lot of tweaks and adjustments to get to look correct. I can hide some of the jank behind camera angles, but I usually try to get it to look as good as I can without driving myself ins...

Instead of taking the weekend off like I said I was going to, I ended up doing some prep work for the next part (organizing folders, adding in the default assets, and making some of the upcoming needed graphic assets).

Since I know I'm adding some fetishes that aren't everyone's thing, I decided to let you opt out of them if you so choose. I had eluded to the fact that maybe you would still hear bits of conversation that reference the scenes you opted out of, but I'm not going to do that.

What have I learned?

So, in creating the first actual "episode" I learned a few things along the way, and also saw some things that's I'm going to change between episodes.

The changes will be mostly dealing with how some of the girls look.. this seems to be an ever-evolving process.

Scripting is (almost) done!

I finished up the last segment and now it's just a matter of going through the game several times, cleaning up dialogue here and there, adding sounds and music where I want them, and making the last few graphical assets I need to add in.

After that's done, it's down to packing it up and getting it online! I hoping to have it to you all in 3 days tops!

I just finished up the last scene, so barring anything I decide to add while finalizing the episode, I should be done with the most time consuming part. Next up is actually scripting the last segment, which includes editing and converting the animations, of which there are quite a few.

I finished the last match and started the last segment of the episode. I scaled it down from what I was initially thinking of doing, and it's still a fairly crazy scene in terms of how many people are in it. Let's just say that some of the girls are becoming real good friends...

I wanted to have someone backstage to do the interviews with wrestlers and whatnot when needed. My very own Mean Gene, but with boobs!

Next thing on the to-do list is the third and final match, then it's just one more backstage segment and the clean up can begin.  The match will take a bit of time to do, and the last segment will probably take a while as well, depending on what I decide to do with it.

Getting there.. slowly.

Just finished the first match. While trying to figure out how the hell I'm going to represent a freaking wrestling match, I had an epiphany. I'm making a goddamn adult game, not a wrestling sim. Using this new viewpoint, I just kinda went with a "highlights" type of approach and didn't concern myself with making a full-on match.

Later on, the matches are going to be more interesting, but ...

What I was rambling on about...

Here's what I was talking about needing to make for each of the wrestlers. I wanted something on the screens when they came out, so I needed the left, right, and middle graphics for each one.

So many things to do...

I made enough new wrestlers to do what I needed to do (which wasn't a ton.. just 4 additional girls to start), then I started try to find entrance songs for the girls I wanted. I got drained and decided to go back to that later so I can actually make some tangible progress.

And I did.. a little. I redid a short little animation that didn't record properly the first time, and then I nailed...

Just thought I'd show a couple of the things I've been working on. These girls are 2 members of a new "stable" and there will be 1 or 2 more with them when they're ready.

These will still have changes made, as I just have them in their first draft "casual" clothes.

The pics also show off the show's graphic overlays for the wrestlers.

First episode hurdles...

I still don't have an even slight idea of how long the episodes will take on average, but the first one is definitely going to take longer than others down the road. Not only do I have to create all the graphic assets that would appear in a wrestling program (name overlays, logos, etc.), I also realized that Mrs. Masters wasn't kidding when she mentioned the roster being stretched thin.

I've started getting the characters ready for the big debut show, and I'll start with the actual work (I like playing dress-up, so I don't count that as work) in the next day or two. What will happen? Even I don't know.
