Update to...many things?

First of all: regarding the new fee structure, I'm upset.

I've been meaning to re-tool my Patreon since I got my job this summer, and I took the time to do so with the new updates. I don't blame anyone for dropping their $1 pledges with the new fee structure. It sucks. I dropped some myself. This only hurts people, and I feel a bit betrayed by Patreon's bottom line here.

one of the biggest reasons my partner and I are moving away from Seattle, other than rising rent costs and general people density, is that my social circle has gotten increasingly hostile.

Final Tarot Prints

Linocuts full test!

Here's my test prints that I used to make sure the cuts were deep enough and such! This was done on pretty low quality paper (Test prints!) so that's why they're so light!

This was so exciting, to see them all together :)

Chicken Coop!

My partner Casey and I built this coop ourselves for our flock!

This picture was taken right after installing the coop in the spring, hence all the greenery.  Nicki, seen under the ramp, we lost back in July, bringing our flock down to 4.

After taking this picture, I realized that the text of these linocuts wasn't up to snuff and I needed to take it all out and find another solution. I'll show y'all that here after a few more posts.... :D

My partner Casey and I got some lovely chickens. I did these from photos of them only 3 weeks old :)

Some linos in various stages of completion and throughout the process for the Major Arcana. 

Medusa Process

I picked up some cradled birch boards on sale and some watercolor ground. As an experiment, I put the watercolor ground directly on the wood, and then did this painting using Daniel Smith watercolors, including some amazing gold and interference paint.

I believe I have a buyer for this piece but I have others I should be listing as soon as my friend and I get our web store set up.

These were done later in the process, I still am figuring out exactly how to sketch "well" on lino and refine my lines.
