I did manage to get all the retopology, UV mapping and baking done on the dude I've been working on, so this week I should be able to get him rigged. ( I've already started setting things up, but wasn't able to finish it in time)

This is a new build of the demo level, with the changes made to make it easier in parts, and the last section (the combat section) fleshed out more. It still has the content from October in it, so you can still locate that in the hidden place.

I tried to spend a lot of time this week finishing the exteriors of the fishing village buildings, so that I have an area you can run around and fight in.
This type of stuff is not something I have a lot of experience with, so I learned a lot while building this area, and I think that'll help a lot when I build my next town area.

This week I put a lot of time ( a lot) into trying to build out modular parts to build this fishing village area. The good news is that a lot of what I did will certainly be reusable for other villages with wooden structures.
The bad news is that this is something I'm inexperienced at, and its taken me a lot of time to build out what is essentially walls.

I worked on a few things this week, most of them small quality of life things.
The big thing I tried to tackle was making the small puzzle in the dungeon easier to understand. People seem to have been confused by it.
As opposed to reworking the puzzle, I first want to see if giving players some build up will help them understand it better.

I wanted to put together something with this dude, as a test and because it was just a lot of work to get him done, and I didn't want to do that and then nothing to animate.
I think it turned out rather well, especially since I rushed it quite a bit. The important parts worked as well as I could have hoped.

This week as you can see above, I took a little time to make throwing things like barrels more useful. Thrown barrels will break and will now do damage to things they hit. I've tried to make aiming them not too hard, as well as make it so you can't hurt yourself too badly...

One of the problems with the minotaur, and with the Ogre in the past, was that they have extremely large dicks, and my female models just can't handle it.
There's a limit to how far I can stretch the models, and though I've learned more and can make the future models stretch more, there is always gonna be a limit.
