Star Sapphires in some old lore are under a constant soft mind control. Some of them are very overtly being mind controlled by their corps. Suffice to say, Daphne would probably think willpower is an overrated light anyway.

One of the few things that I didn't like about the Scooby-doo show was the weird floral pattern. Daphne's bikini was the only thing I ever liked with it, and it goes nicely with the Bikini Bottom aesthetic so I figured why not?
