Sensuous

This was a shot where I directed more light on the back wall than the model. Made her somewhat silhouetted, and increased the sensuousness of the shot. Helps when you have a great model, which I did in Breanna.

It pays off when you take the time to plan, frame and light a scene with care. This is from "The Places That I've Been", which is in season eleven.

Personal Choice

For me, I think Breanna probably has the best body of all the women I've worked with. Everyone has their personal favorites, but overall I think Brea really has "it".

At any given time I have between 25 and a few hundred monthly supporters. It can be chaotic! That's why it takes a bit of time in issuing rewards - it's an all day job.

I'll be losing another actress soon. This lovely lady will be moving out of Chicago. She was always a dream to work with - just so damned nice.

Primal

This is what I call a primal horror film. No backstory, no intricate plot. Just an annoyance that builds into a fear that builds into a dread. And then - a monster leaps out.

This is horror in its essence.

Even in more complex stories, this is the framework to building up those stories - setup, evolution, and then bang!

The Urn

Another one of my films I ran across while uploading that I really loved. This, for me, was one of those old school horror films, like the kinds I watched growing up. A mysterious, haunted object.

The New Gospel

As I've uploaded my films for those who are purchasing, I've run across some of my old favorites. One of which is 'The New Gospel'. Love the story. Some really interesting actors who totally fit their role (especially the 'Eschatologist'). Morbid and absorbing story.

Shock!

That moment of shock when you realize June is almost over. It's the day before the day before the new month. So, Season 14 premieres! You have a one time offer to buy my films. And in a previous video you got a glimpse at nearly all the movies coming up in season 15 (minus one. I wanted to keep some surprises!)

What's in a name?

Hands down, my best name for a horror film. The title alone prompted a large number of new subscribers that month. So what's in a name? A lot, apparently.

Talent

This actress is one of the many very talented actresses I had the pleasure of working with. She's really great in 'The Hum' and it remains a film I really love.

But, it's unlikely we'll work together again. She and I are still friends, and communicate often. But we just haven't found a vehicle we're both happy with.

Sometimes my films air on various websites, and I'll enter into agreements with these sites. Sometimes they have terms which will limit what I can do with that film (other than run it for rental on Patreon).

Well, on all my films now I am currently outside of the timeframe any sort of agreements limiting what I can do with my films.

This film, 'The App', probably won't premiere for awhile, but it'll be worth the wait. Alex, doing her thing in a wild story.

Simple

'Framed' was a very easy and short shoot. It was a simple story, I structured my shots in a nice, clean manner that would tell the story well, I had really good establishing shots to set it up, and it worked. It just worked. No difficult tale here.

If you're at/past season eight or you're almost there, I think you'll enjoy it.

Chemistry

These two actors, from 'The Places That I've Been' probably had the most comfortable on-screen chemistry of any actors I've worked with. If I work with either actor again I'll make it a point to try and bring in the other.

Finding Samantha Dixon

I'd love to work with this actress again. We almost worked together after she did this film with me, 'Finding Samantha Dixon' (currently on Amazon).

But that was a decade ago, she's long since moved out of Chicago. Oh well...

The Lost Footage

Here's something you may not know. I shot a short film that used footage from Danielle done during her 'The Day After The Day' shoot. However after getting half finished with this other film, a lot of the footage was corrupted.

Ouroboros

What is this man seeing? You'll find out in 'Ouroboros', a film I'm currently editing.

The script has been rewritten by me 3 times. I knew I had a story, I just couldn't express it properly. Well, it seems the third time was the charm.

The actor (pictured above) described it as a "Twilight Zone-type story." I'd have to agree.

When will you see this? Not sure. Down the line...<...

Tiers

I might be making a few changes in the tiers - the lower level tier, that is. I'm working on a few ideas.

I'm also really putting some thought into that dream of doing a feature length project again. Maybe a special limited time tier for that?
