A Mad Idea

So, my wife had a suggestion.

A five book omnibus.

I did the layout, but I found a problem. In order for it to be printable in hardback I'd have to go with Arial 9pt. Now, TTRPG books are done at that size, but that's pretty small. Even then, it might be over the page limit for hardback, but it can definitely be done in softback.

I Will Always Do Whatever It Takes

My shoulders are healing well.

See, I was in physical therapy for rotator cuff tears and some damage from when the dog knocked the ladder down and I fell about 15 feet and hit the brick planter on the way down.

Tingling/pins and needles have largely stopped. Still can't lift my arms level with my shoulders without pain.

Got a doctor's appointment on Tues, so there's that.

What happened...

So, yesterday was Physical Therapy.

Afterwards, sitting in the car, I realized something.

I couldn't drive. My arms were just done. Rotator cuff tears had made it so I couldn't really lift my arms up. My hands and forearms were pins and needles and felt puffy even though they were normal sized.

So I had to call my daughter to come get me and the car.

Spring is Coming

So, that happened. Nasty case of a stomach bug, made worse by my meds.

I'm on the mend now. I can actually keep food down (24 hours now) and I don't get dizzy.

I can tell I'm getting older. Used to be I just shrugged stuff like that off in 72 hours and kept right on trucking.

The Fall of Logistics Base Tannhauser

Merry Christmas Eve

Just a quick note: I hope everyone is having a good holiday and a good night, even if you don't celebrate Christmas.
