Sweater Weather, p23

Nice to see that after the initial parking lot/coffee shop confrontation, the first contact we see Kat make is a playful shove.

Content warning: smoochin

Also, Kat’s husband’s name is Steven. Anybody who can connect the dots between her husband and son’s names gets a cookie.

Scotty unwittingly talks his mother off a ledge with a simple, honest compliment.

He probably didn’t see too much of that, right? I’m not covering anymore of the O’ Connor family’s trauma in another ten years, I promise!

Whoops, looks like Kitty’s back in town! But is she just visiting?

We all process post-bimbofication trauma differently.

Not it’s Kat’s turn for an extended flashback!

Sweater Weather, p16

The Kat reveal! But how the heck did that happen? Will we find out via flashback because I couldn’t find a more elegant way to tell her story in sequential order? Yes.

Before you think the music selection here is too one the nose to be believable, I will say that I once got kicked out of a record store for attempting to shoplift, and “Been Caught Stealing” by Jane!s Addiction came on the radio when I drove away. 90s music knows. It just does.

I had trouble deciding between “sweater junkie” and “sweater cultist,” but I think I made the right choice.

And Happy Switch 2 Announcement Day to all who celebrate.

Poor Margaret still believes in the “lemme explain” phase of the conversation. Let’s see how this plays out!

Sweater Weather, p12

Just in case nobody noticed the “honor student” sticker on Katherine’s car, then her confession-inducing death stare should confirm that she is, in fact, a mom.

View Post

Sweater Weather, p11

Katherine’s been holding back this entire time, huh?

Margaret may have figured out how to game the bimbo system, but she’s still not so great with social cues.

This is not a drill, people! We have our first sighting of a virgin killer in this or any of my work (unless you recall the one I drew Rosemary in on Sept. 30, 2019)! I repeat: VIRGIN KILLER

Also, there’s more exposition. I didn’t think I’d have to write this much! I hope I’m showing as much as I’m telling.

Sweater Weather, p8

Introspection through exposition. I hope this makes enough sense so far. I’ve had a decade to think about how to do this, and I’m still doing my usual writing method of shooting from the hip while I draw. I always have a basic idea, and then the art and writing inform each other. I still don’t know how long this is going to be, so strap in.

On one hand, I think this is the funniest thing I’ve ever written for a bimbo comic. On the other, watching Maggie’s attempt at masking is pretty rough.

Margaret is ready for round two!

Sweater Weather, p5

Katherine and Margaret had very different post-sweater goals. But even ten years ago, Margaret told herself that new sweater day was about taking chances!

Debimbofication can strike at any moment. Doesn’t matter which jobs you’re at!

Sweater Weather, p3

A brief glimpse into what Margaret’s been up to. But what got her here?

View Post

Sweater Weather, p2

I’m not sure how much time in-universe has passed since TLNS, but Katherine’s definitely a little on edge from the experience. I don’t think it’d be crossing the line to say traumatized.

I published The Librarian’s New Sweater on Deviantart back in April 2015. I threw it together on a whim because some bimbo club posted a contest where the only prompt was cursed clothing. My goal was to create a bimbo story that would be cute and funny and not delve into the more control-based tropes of the genre. While Margaret donned the transformative sweater to catch the eye of a male pro...

Tinkerer (ink)

Decided on a look for the ponytail. Also decided to cut the legs of the jumpsuit a little shorter. I trust this is in line with all the suggestions you were all too shy to leave in the comments. I’m winking but you can’t see it.

Here’s an upcoming Magic Lesson, following up Angela’s sudden transformation into a gremlin. Specifically, the type of gremlin found in some of Dragon Fang X’s chain series. They are decidedly not magic users, and this version of Gremlin Angela is focused on creating gadgets and such. I’m pretty happy with the jumpsuit and increased muscle tone, hair is okay, and I really need to work o...

Merdath inks

I’m trying a different ink with this one. For those playing along at home on Procreate, this is the Baskerville pen. It’s interesting in that you kinda have to “pull” the ink. You can’t work fast or sketchy with it as I tend to do. It makes for more deliberate line work, which I think works well for the character. I also tried some rough colors. Looking to keep this one in lighter ton...

Merdath sketch 2

This sketch features more detail in the hair and clothing. I decided to keep her profile looming in the background, even if it was just for the purpose of figuring out how to draw her the first time around. And just for Valentine’s Day, she’s clutching a human heart. Awwwww~!
