Thanks to residual powder from the transformed Angela (made from Salomé Brimston’s makeup, horn shavings, and concentrated sin if you needed a reminder), Winomé emerges! Now there’s a name you can portmanteau with ease!

Who knew Angela-Salomé was a hugger? (Angome? Salgela? These names don’t portmanteau well.) Bel is regretting her dust-based transformation concoction. Maybe one of the first times she’s ever experienced regret?

Angela’s had the entire running time of Crazy Psychiatrist 5 (about two years and change) to soak in the powdered essence of Salomé Brimston, and it looks to be having lasting effects. Even Bel is having her doubts about her cunning scheme.

Tanuki Auction

New epilogue coming! Tanuki Angela uses her powers of illusion to scam Abigail and Salomé by getting them in a bidding war for actual garbage. The necklace up for bid is a soda can tab and dental floss.

Juiced

Gonna be dipping into blueberry Magic Lessons for one last time. Here’s an idea we’re not using: a post-juicing Angela. I liked the pose in my sketch, though, so I inked and colored it. There’s even a bonus version where I tinkered with warping it a bit.

September Win

Just a good ol’ fashion pic for the best-dressed vampire in Underborough. September is still summer for the first twenty days or so, but it’s cooling off enough to rock the tights and shorts combo. And Ms. Pale always accessorizes with a disaffected expression.

Are We Not Men?

Today’s doodle is a doodle in the truest sense. I just watched the DEVO documentary on Netflix (which I highly recommend), so I’ve got the boys from Akron on the brain. What I don’t have on the brain or in my hands is any skill at caricature. I had fun with this one, but it is the worst portrait of Mark Mothersbaugh ever committed to digital canvas.

Chemist Gremlin

Another gremlin type has been added! Gremlins (at least from DragonFangX’s lore that I’m borrowing) are averse to magic, yet somehow there’s a magic spell that turns you into one. Anyway, that’s not important. What’s important, at least to Angela, is chemistry! And shopping for much smaller clothes.

OomPALE-Loompa / Winnie Wonka

Someone needs to capitalize off Angela’s newfound juice bounty! This is sort of a first treatment for a potential epilogue to Angela’s second blueberry saga. Not sure how Win would end up this way, but even if we don’t use it, it was a fun pair of drawings.

Sentimental Wednesday

Today is my mom’s 80th birthday, so just like with my dad’s 80th last year, I’m busting out real pencils and pens to tell some heartfelt tale from my childhood. I did a quick sketch in Procreate as well, and I’m glad it carried over well. The real drawing is 11” x 15”, of you’re curious.

Succubus Bel

Here’s how Bel’s devil nature reacted to the succubus kiss. She’s digging it, though! I know there’s no scenery or other characters for reference, but you get that she’s shorter now, right? I mean, the t-shirt should be a tip-off.

Succubus Shelley

Shelley’s succubification is distinctively they/them coded in a way that’s specific to my life experience. I did not base this look off any real people, do not search through my drawings to dispute this.

Succubus Winifred

Looks like the curse has spread to Winifred, who got kind of a cutesy, girl-next-door makeover. I guess the succubus kisses affect Underborough-born monsters in different ways.

Had to do a proper color drawing of Succubus Angela. And I gave her velour activewear because why not? I hope she’s not blowing those kisses too indiscriminately…

Hell of a Night Out

Normally I wouldn’t consider Salomé Brimston to be such a corruptive influence, but I guess she just wanted a girls’ night out. Did she have to create a succubus to do so? Probably not, but maybe that’s just a devil’s idea or pre-gaming. Why is Salomé taking a ghostly form? I dunno, plausible deniability maybe.

Skye Chew

Inflation-curious flight attendant Skye Friendly takes a break from serving drinks and saving lives to promote a new bubble gum. I think I first drew Skye about ten years ago, but I don’t see a Sweater Kitty’s style resurgence for this one. I like Skye a lot, but I just don’t have multiple panels of 1960s airliner interiors/exteriors in me.
