Affinity Photo shows an interesting behavior, when using the Saturation from the "Vibrance Adjustment" compared to the "HSL Adjustment". It seems that the Saturation in the "Vibrance Adjustment" is still within the purpose of what Vibrance does, while in the HSL Adjustment, it simply changes the Saturation Value of the Colors.
