So this was meant to be Tem sword practicing (suggested by DJBlueWolf), and one of the poses I looked up on Google was similar to this, but after finishing the drawing I realized it just looks like Tem is posing with his sword more than practic...

This was a really fun commission to work on. I felt my creative forces flowing for this one after I was asked to make the illustration feel like a bad memory rather than an accurate depiction of the scene. I can already feel this will probably be on my end-of-year Summary of Art for 2022!

I'm pretty proud of how this sketch turned out, primarily due to the body language! With Jos on the left, he's in an "ignorance is bliss" peaceful sort of pose and expression, despite having had his foot amputated. Hez, his older brother on the right, is exhausted, but restless, so I drew him sitting hunched over, but twisted in an awkward position as if he can't get comfortable.

Ta-dah! I know the background colors are a bit unusual and you'd expect warmer ones for an occasion like this, but I wanted everything to be cohesive with their combined color scheme, hence the purple and teal balloons and whatnot. :3

I made sure that this PNGTuber is compatible with all my existing hats! I did that by making sure the bridge of the muzzle stayed a similar shape, the top of the head stayed a similar distance away, and the ear overlapped in a similar spot as before. Sadly, existing outfits are not due to the shoulders being pretty much non-existent hahaha.

I've been really looking forward to this page, and admittedly, I procrastinated for a week or so because of it. I had to take a bit of my own advice and jump headlong into it though. This comic is entirely about accepting flaws - isn't it kind of the meta thing to accept flaws in the comic, even before they happen? :p
