Just another update.

Hope you and everyone you care for is well in this crazy time!

Work continues on Chapter 7! Specifically working through day 4 (the last day) of the chapter!

Day 4 is basically a long string of scenes that require a bunchhhh of drawings and then some... animation *wink*. Because don't you all hate those projects that just turn into text games when the action hits? It drives me nuts....

I hope you are all doing as well as the environment and economy can permit at this crazy time. 

I am well and continuing to chip away at Ch 7! Wrapping up the final scene on day 3 of 4. (There is significantly more fun to be had in this chapter, so it's been taking more time to get drawn.)

Having a lot of fun with the scenes and making steady progress on Day 3 of 4. Taking every available moment to chip away at the artwork. It's gonna be a really fun chapter. I think it'll be the best yet, but maybe I'm biased.

Putting in Reps boiiii

The grind continues. And gains are made.

Good progress on the story over this last week and a bit. Pretty much half way there as I work on day 3 of 4. (Most of the tricky art and writing comes on day 4 so that'll be fun :)

Distractions.

I'm really enjoying this new approach to developing the chapter all together as I go. Starting with an outline of plot events, and then doing the code, art, and dialogue all together is keeping me interested. And hopefully making the chapter more interesting.

Getting Real Close!

Just a brief update to let y'all know we are getting close to release! 

Phrasing? Phrasing.

Working away getting the story coded into Renpy. Then maybe playing with some slight ui tweaks? We shall see. Making good progress thus far.

Art assets are basically done! Wahoo! 

Now onto code... In which we trade hand cramps for brain aches. Wish me luck!

Massage? No. Draw until you need a massage? Yessss.

Plowing onward through animation creation station. Haha. Plowing. 

Progress is being made. The end is in sight etc etc. Art assets are approximately 85% done at this point. What's left? A few more animated loops for the final scene and then some outro illustrations. 

I'm still mulling over how I'd like to rearrange patreon tiers to entice more support. If anyone has though...

Have y'all heard of scope creep? It happened. There will be two animated scenes you could totally miss if you don't explore this next chapter fully. How fun is that?

Late Night Coffee

Just finished most of the art assets for day 2 of 3! Next step is getting day 2 coded, then on to day 3.... Day 3 will be the most work, but it should also be the most fun to read/play. Thanks to all for your support and encouragement! Your kind words and a lot of late night coffee are keeping me going.

Character Sprite Work

Working on some new poses with Professor Priftathi's casual outfit. 

I draw and paint these up at double the screen resolution so that they don't get too blurry as I pull and warp the pixels in each pose. Hopefully all these poses help bring the dialogue to life and make these characters compelling!
