I've finished mapping out the 3 out of 4 layers.

It was a lot of work but I feel like it will get my projects to new heights if I pull this off.

FLCoS

Fully recreated the FLCoS driver board.

It’s almost 1:1 recreation. Original uses vias smaller than 0.2mm so I’ve had to take some liberties.

It’s a 4 layer board of course.

I was so hyped to receive it but if you look very closely at the lower right edge, I’ve forgot to put traces for voltage controller 😣

61 pin FFC connector - 0.2mm pitch | Fusion360 Library

I've had hard time looking for the 61 pin ffc connector at 0.2mm pitch so I've made one.

For anyone wondering - The ECX333a FFC is actually 0.2 pitch. I’ve designed couple of experimental PCBs using 0.3 pitch and now all of them are pretty much going straight to the trash 😣

I've modified the display gasket to use the hinge system. Whole device now mounts to the headband with screw. You can regulate the position of the display (forward and backward as well as degree). I've added a small plastic piece which helps with cutting out the combiner.

MangoPi Devkit

MangoPi Devkit is coming along nicely.

I’ve got the main parts already soldered.

I’m still missing some resistors and capacitors but I think i might be able to bypass them.

HDMI Converter 0.3 Greenlit

My newest and smallest HDMI converter has been soldered and I can proudly confirm that it’s working 🖤

It’s so small that you can actually use it instead of the 3.5 jack.

I've designed simple, two button board for the ECX display used in my recent builds.

Buttons control the brightness.

You can upload the Gerber files to any PCB maker site and they will make some for you on the cheap. I don't recommend buying assembled ones since it's just two tact switches.

Rokid Max Birdbath Clone

I’ve recreated Rokid Max optics in 3D.

Now I can pretty much resin print the whole birdbath setup.

DiY HDMI Converter 0.24 is now working

My newest DiY HDMI converter is working. I’ve made it smaller, I’ve replaced the HDMI connector with HDMI Micro and added solder pads for easier display soldering

Got Rokid Max glasses

I’ve bought broken Rokid Max glasses to tear them down do some reverse engineering in hope I can improve my birdbath design.

Turns out that the glasses actually work and seller didn’t know how to get them to work 🙃

So now I don’t want to tear them down since I’ve got a pretty good deal (~120$) 😭
