This is an "almost" real time repair (1 Hour) of a large power supply and tube amplifier used on a set. This is an example of how fast repairs need to be accomplished in the field to get things moving again. Here you will learn fast component recognition, transformer wire colors, discoloration in tubes, and why it happens. See the bare minimum of component replacement to make the device work ag...

This ranks up there with the "Carlson Super Probe." This tester will test capacitors for leakage without the "High Voltage" used in all the others! This is a much safer alternative, and if that's not good enough..... It's even more sensitive than normal HV leakage testers, It picks up faulty capacitors that the others don't see. This unit can also be used to "forecast" future possible capacitor...

More PCB files released, and I still have tons to go. Feel free to build and enjoy! Be aware that full mains AC is present on this device, use extreme caution when building this! If your unsure of working around this sort of thing (Mains AC) do not build this project. If you build this, you're doing so at your own risk.

Find faulty components with no schematic's, no power applied to the circuit, and little to no knowledge about the circuit under test. Sounds too good to be true right? Here is a circuit board for you to build. This circuit board project involves many of the "breadboarded" circuits we built together in past videos. Congratulations, you're now building your own test gear!&n...

I have completed some component testing, and found these parts to be "really good." I will be using these parts in many future builds. If you're following along with my design, restoration and repair videos, it would be beneficial to have the same components. As these videos progress, I will verify more components, and share my results with you.
