The Rosanna groove by Toto is a popular drumbeat among drummers. It's crucial to master the first step, focusing on your up and down stroke on the hi-hat. Remember, down represents the neck of the stick, and up signifies the tip.

This groove is absolutely one of my favorites, but I have to admit, it wasn't a walk in the park to master. The vibe is incredibly exotic, thanks to the unique placement of the bass and the intricate pattern I play with my left hand on the hi-hat, stack, and tom 1. If a stack isn't available, simply play it on the hi-hat.

High Roller

This fill is perfect for use in rock or metal, for example. The placement of the bass at different points of your 16th makes the fill difficult but super fun to play when you can do it later. Let's Shake It Up

You're going to love this groove! It's all about switching between the hi-hat and a stack (which is 2 or more cymbals stacked on top of each other). If you don't have a stack, no worries! You can use the hoop of the tom with your right hand instead. Let's rock!
