Quick look at the combinations before the weekend! With the modules I made so far I can create these very long long halls extending along the long axis. Looking forward to make the extensions for the other direction and a part II :)
One thing I noticed is that I need to mix up the shield variations so they are no repetitions! But other than that I think it looks quite (fantasy) Viking-ish...

I realized if you wanted you could even kit-bash the NVB2 house to stack it onto the long hall. So that's something to think about if these two options are not enough :D

I have finished texturing the other wayside shrines. Just need to make some minor corrections - like the position of the icons on the last one is too low.
I have added a couple of options (brick or stone foundation, red and green roof tiles) for variety as usual and will now start to get them ready for release!

Before I continue with the next step, the ratlines, I decided to make an introduction video explaining all the layers you can choose from, so people get an idea just how much you can customize this baby :)

When looking at the house version where the door is on the long side I have found the roof could use a little extra detail, so I made this option. This will give a nice alternate look for more variety in a settlement of these buildings.

In addition to the two know roof options I have added two more and also one for the longitudinal one! Also have created some ground base tiles (grid in the pics is optional).

With the thin column elements there was just no space to implement insertion tabs properly. One could just glue the front and sides together and make the rest detachable but that would leave you with a very large and long...

Started talking about building the masts. The content become so long that I have to split it into two parts for the main masts. There will be yet another one later for the bowsprit mast with the deck structures, but with these everyone should understand the basic structure, ideas and methods of building my masts!

The roof parts and texturing is coming along nicely. I got the wood shingles, grass and thatched versions added and made the visible undersides. I also added a full underside texture for the Deluxe edition as a bonus if you want to create a roof that has no white when opened!

I have managed to wrap up this video. I have planned to include the main masts and stairs too but it became so long without that I decided to split these topics into new videos. So for now is just adding the deck, closing the core shape and getting the ship into a shape where it gets usable!
