I put the finishing touches on my new Label cosplay from Animal Crossing! This was a super quick and easy build, since all I really had to make was the scarf and the ears. (I followed Kinpatsu Cosplay’s tutorial for those!) I’ll be shooting photos either tomorrow or Monday. Stay tuned!

Pardon the creepy scratched out face, I have some serious tired face, haha. I spent literally all day doing tiny rolled hems on three layers of Thumbelina’s skirt, and piecing together the fourth layer, a lace overlay! It’s not perfect, but it has a nice weight and movement to it, and ultimately I’m pleased with the outcome.

Just a few small updates on Thumbelina! I threw together a quick sketch to test where I wanted to place flowers and embellishments, and then got to work on the sewing. I finished up the blouse (ill-fitting on the dressform, but neater on me — and to be largely concealed by a corset, eventually) and got started on the corset, and then layered some fabrics to see how the skirt might look.
