As I come back from vacation, I don't have a lot of stuff ready and queued up, so I am putting some comics together tonight (it is 9:50 pm in Kosovo as I do this now) and I don't have a full WIP product all the way to the end.
Still, I am maximizing my time by using a one-panel comic, and here it is, slowly coming together.

That's what I am; a crusty old GWOT veteran. Here at Camp Bondsteel, in Kosovo, we have what's called the "Eagle Cash Card". It is essentially a pre-paid debit card that is used instead of cash at the on-post venues. We fill it with money from our home accounts, and you can only charge what you have on it.

"Film City" is the name of a real camp in Kosovo; it is in fact the main Multinational Headquarters camp located in the capitol of Prishtina. I'm not sure where the name comes from.
And if you want to go there, it is easiest to just drive a car, or as we call it, a "GMR". GMR stands for Ground Movement Request and it means the formal requesting of a regular car for ordinary transport. So...

This one went all over the place. I knew as soon as I drew the characters I was going to have to move them around a bit; they were too far over to the left (I wanted them somewhat on the left, but not that much) and they were too tall for the frame as I drew them.

I have a cool panel with a helicopter in it, but it gives away the joke. Darn it! But now we get to see Lieutenant-Colonel Reese and Sergeant-Major Warner discussing morale in the Task Force. 
Getting that line work done..! Cleaned up with a lot of the little "tails" eliminated.
