I was planning on having Ran change her hair around chapter 3, but I really like it after drawing it... so I'm thinking about going back and redoing pages to just have it early.

I wanted to change up the orc design so it's not just basically She-Hulk with tusks.
Also helps make the difference between goblins (green) vs orcs (grey) more noticeable other than their size.

This was something to show the freckle marks above her butt. I wanted to indicate a few places that goblins in this world have their freckles occur and it gave me an idea for an illustration.

I typically do 3/4 poses for comic strips since it's the most iconic/characterful pose-- s'why Family Guy does it too.
But for comic pages, like Maho Noir is, I need to expand my repertoire.
I put some time in on Fizee's frontal look and I think it came out pretty good.

Since I rejiggered Ran's look I wanted to do some more practice on her and I needed to do some NSFW content for folks so I did a drawing of her.
I'm also struggling with the layout for page four as a lot needs to happen on it for pacing so I'm taking a break from it as I did this and will be working on my 3d printer tonight.

(Maho Noir) Fivebucks Coffee
I needed a coffee shop brand for Maho Noir, so why reinvent the wheel...
Abe Lincoln wasn't a President so I needed something else for the logo.
The world that Maho Noir is in has five major religions and one of the gods is represented by a stag. They're the god of life and rebirth... something that a coffee shop would like to have representing them.

I'm working on page three but it's taking longer since I'm not just redoing the Ran art.
We see a minor character that starts Ran on her case. She's only on this page for this chapter and doesn't appear again for several more chapters, i.e.: she's not in anything I have written yet, but she'll need to come back at some point.
Ran feels a little looser here than she has in the previo...

I redid the character art on this since I wasn't as happy with the previous attempt and I wanted to push the look further away from the actual film noir detective for her.
I'm back to working on Maho Noir as I'm far more excited for it than ZR at the moment and I want to get the first chapter done before Spring.

(NSFW) (Warhammer 40K) Suam'Shi pin-up
I'm slowly going to be starting a new 40K army, T'au Empire, so I wanted to make a character to use in pin-ups and eventually as a Pathfinder in Kill Team/40K. Suam'Shi is a T'au, they're basically fish goats who shoot things with big guns.
My main army is orks and there aren't any female orks so I didn't have the same opportunity to do a lady pin-up... Hell, I don't even know if the orks...
