Hello again guys. I've been holding off on doing this until the ebook release, but I've been thinking about the stuff you're about to read for awhile. Additionally, I've been going over the "What do you want to see in book 5?" thread for patrons only. This can be considered a second such thread, but open to everyone who follows this patreon.
Once again, I want to take the time to reflect ...

Amazon Apocalypse 4 is out today!
Thank you guys for reading along with me as I wrote it. Maybe you guys will see something from one of your comments in the final book. You should be able to jump into book 5 even without reading the final version, but here it is if you're interested.
Check it out here:

Kyrina escorted me back to the Samhain compound after I waved my goodbyes to Professor Verlin. Hopefully, I’d see him again because he’d been a massive help in preparing for a B-grade.
Pretty soon, Cyra and I were reunited again. It had only been a few days, and it shouldn’t have felt as long as it had, but we were technically newlyweds, so I didn’t feel bad about missing her.

Here's Carter's cheat sheet, as promised.
Note, he won't actually have the new skills listed here until he reaches B-Grade, but that's coming up soon.
Anyway, I gotta make one of these for the whole main cast, though the girls' will be shorter since I haven't gone into too much detail about most of their abilities.
After that, a bit of worldbuilding docum...

“As you can tell, I am a normal level ten wizard. Utterly unremarkable,” Ted began.
“I’m sure you’re remarkable in many ways, Ted,” I smiled in reply, doing my best to not make it look forced.
I was pretty sure I knew what this was. There was a small but rapidly diminishing chance that Ted was who he claimed to be. Despite his appearance, I found it hard to believe a lev...

First up is Amazon Apocalypse 5, so I'm working on that. Right now, I'm aiming for a May release, but we're early enough in the process who knows?
My goal for this year is to step my game back up a little. Last year was a bit of a weak year for me, mostly because every book I published was in extra large size, which meant I had comparatively few releases, though I still wrote quite a bit....

Book 4 comes out on the 10'th!
If you're reading the patreon version, make sure to finish up by the 9'th. Everything (besides the chapters that were completely rewritten. Old versions will stay up.) will be coming down then.

Naturally, I woke up tied face-down to a bench.
I groaned. Not again.
“Hold on, I’m about to finish,” Kyrina said.
“Ow,” I grumbled. My shoulder hurt, but nowhere near as much as the pounding in my head.
I yawned, opened my eyes, and fought to keep from jerking as something stabbed into my shoulder again and again. I’d never gotten a tattoo back on E...

Cyra seemed pretty nervous when I mentioned wanting to meet her family.
“A-are you sure?” Cyra asked.
“Yes, I’m sure. Aren’t I supposed to be the one nervous about this sort of thing?” I chuckled.
“But...” Cyra looked left and right. “They’re... nosy. They’ll want to know all about what you do and what your plans are.”
“I want to go and do just ...

My uniform was uncomfortably tight. The black and red colors with gold trim showed off the emblem of the Dragon Lodge’s armed forces. Until a few minutes ago, I was unaware they even had armed forces. Thanks to my recent victory in the tournament, I’d skipped about two dozen ranks and found myself not just an officer, but the commander of an entire army.
“Your soldiers are all accou...

I’m Carter, originally from Earth. I was born, raised, and grew up much like any other pre-integration Earthling, with one small exception. My childhood best friend was an Amazonian from another world, and she warned me of the coming apocalypse.
Thanks to her warning, I survived the end of the world, and I was able to save a few others with me. One of them was my old boss, Sakura, who t...

What do you guys want to see in Amazon Apocalypse book 5?
And yes, I'm finishing up book 4. The canon ending will be the rewrite ending, which is where we'll be starting book 5 (though I will tweak chapter 71 a bit more, since I know people didn't like the rewrite version of Myrina's fight.)

Author's Note: I accidentally posted the epilogue, so I'm posting everything I've got right now. I'm adding links to the end of all the rewrite chapters to avoid confusion on the order of chapters.
Cyra and I snuck out of the arena before the fight Myrina was trying to pick got going. Hopefully, once they’d gotten their fill of being beaten half to death by Myr...

Reluna, in Crownhill
Reluna poured over her latest talisman, ink-stained fingers whetting her brush for the final time. Her legs ached from sitting so long, but this talisman would be a masterpiece, she was certain.
She held her breath, then with all the care of a surgeon,...

“Hello, Cyra.” I waved to her.
The scene must have looked odd to the crowd. Her, battered and bloody, and me clean and looking fresh, now that I was out of my armor.
“How is it you are here? When did you get here?” Cyra asked, suddenly f...

Some new stuff here, some old stuff. Most of the fight with Cyra is the same, but it's happening in the final match rather than the semifinals.

Kyrina Samhain, on Mucaria one day ago.
Kyrina sat in the Samhain family booth and watched as her daughter was defeated. Cyra losing wasn't something easy to watch, even if she knew what was happening.
The only thing that made it better was her other daughter sitting next to her.
"You're sure?" Kyrina asked.
Myrina laughed. "I'm sure, mom. It's Carter in there. ...

I woke, yawned, stretched, and realized I couldn’t move. I looked down to find Cyra’s arms wrapped tightly around my chest. The tattered remains of the Lasso of Amazonian Binding lay nearby. While the magical rope had proved its worth on the battlefield, it wasn’t quite strong enough for use in the bedroom.
I was quite comfortable where I was, so I sat there awhile, admiring my new ...

As soon as the match was called, I fed Cyra the most expensive health potion I had. It also had a mild sedative effect, since it was intended for treating people with severe wounds. I thought I’d bring it back to Crownhill for Doctor Roswell to use, but it was just what I needed here. Cyra started looking better immediately.
After that, I detonated several mana bombs, which wiped away t...

I was pleasantly surprised to not be woken up in the middle of the night by a Samhain Clan ambush. I’d half expected it, but I’d been careful to remain well hidden after a few close calls, and my civilian identity was still fairly secret. Either that, or the Samhain family was more noble than I expected and placed full trust in Cyra to win the tournament.
“Today’s the day! Today...

Myrina dominated her next match, and Cyra, of course, won hers easily. By now, Myrina and I were the only competitors left from the team event. Everyone else had come in through the invitationals.
This, I learned, was the expected result. Powerful people from humble backgrounds were rare, at least compared to those raised from an early age to be part of a great clan. Every major family ha...

The next few days were relatively uneventful. Sakura talked some sense into Patriarch Darkbinding, and between intimidation and the limitless pockets Sakura could wield thanks to consistent arena bets, things were going well for us.
Sakura was even able to pick up another shipment of goods from Shadefall and back home, refilling our stockpile completely. Now we had plenty of enchanted swo...

Myrina ended up starting a massive brawl. I'd been too focused on Cyra to hear what she said or watch what she did, but she riled up the whole crowd, both highborn and low alike. Though the fighting started with her, the anger swiftly boiled over to something more all-encompassing, and soon all but the most reserved fighters were bashing one another into the dirt.
Ironically, Myrina ended...

Compared to the semifinals, the grand finale match of the team brackets was a bit disappointing. The runner-up team was a group of five C-Grade wizards all hoping to put something nice on their applications to join the Dragon Lodge as graduate students. Truthfully, just getting second place in this team tournament was probably enough for that, so I didn’t feel bad about taking them out and sc...

After the match, Ivanar and Agatha both eyed Myrina like she was a venomous snake. They’d known she was good from what they’d seen of her in the arena, but this was the first time she’d really shown off her full capabilities.
