The theme was robotics as you may remember, and this was a fun choice, actually an unexpected one, but super fun to draw as well!
Personally, XJ9's design as a cartoon is so simple I just had a lot of fun giving her a little of a redesign and adding more details here and there, bahaha.

I was asked to try and explain this, so here I am!
Basically, this is my quick method for cleaning scanned black and white drawings, I remember doing this a lot during inktober season haha.
Now alright, I... I hope I don't sound too confusing when I try to explain these things, I'm sometimes not using the correct terms and this comes all from personal experience.

Here's a brief explanation of how I worked on this one~!
The process was slightly different than usual, it was a fun experiment!

This one has a different layer structure than usual, mostly cause I was working separating lots of different elements, cause I intend to make it a fun 3D picture later (you know those on facebook these days~) and this way it'll be easier~ : D
