A few things coming
Just wanted to provide a little update since I haven't posted in a bit.
I've been testing/helping with a couple of models as of late that will hopefully be featuring in a few animations proper soon. (Some of you might guess one of them)

VR and 4K, A moment to reflect
Seems I've exceeded even patreons upload limits with the VR bitrate on these ones, so I've made them Mega links instead. If anyone can't use that, I can try balancing some settings to have them direct downloads tho, so let me know, but these will be very nice quality I think.

Fluids testing
So I don't wanna say I "wasted" my weekend trying to get a fluid setup to work, but I definitely didn't get quite where I'd hoped.
I was playing around with a fluid painter normally used in still images and attempting to rig it to move, but I've hit a few hiccups.
But here's a little test I did. With various types of saliva strings in the still image, and the more basic ones I got working...
Mirror Image WIP
An idea popped into my head I just had to animate,
A friend keeps putting the notion of reverse mawshots in my mind, and I thought introducing a mirror to the occasion would make it even more fun.
This is just the test render to trial how the lighting would look from in there, but I'd call it a sucsess and am working on adding much more to it soon
Bottle Tease VR + update
Well, my GPU didn't like it, but here's the VR version of the previous animation as requested by some.
This took longer than I thought due to the combination of the double frames and an issue this map file has making it rather chonke. Also a fun windows update restarting my PC during the render while I was away >:(

Minor turbulance VR version

I had forgotten to set the VR version to render for a bit.
Took a little while cause I was working on some other stuff that was rendering intermitatly, plus somthing about this room takes aaaaages to load for each frame, and some blackouts didn't help.
Got something else in progress that might be sneaking out before the previous WIP as well
Internals question
So I plan to have some internal shots in a piece that is otherwise POV
And the only problem that comes to mind is the VR version.
The way I do these internals wouldn't really work for VR, so would you guys want me to include these scenes in a flatter video format between VR bits? Or maybe try removing the fisheye effect for those scenes to try and capture some depth still? Would be intere...

2024 Plans
I had a little bit of a rough new years, but I'm recovering and laying out some various plans for the future and some trial ideas.
First plan is to give the massive surge of new members a big thanks and welcome! Each notification put a smile on my face over the holidays and I hope to keep enough going on that you'll stick around.

So I sadly won't make Christmas with this like I hoped, turns out 15000 frames takes a little to render lol. I had to drop my goal to just getting the 1080p version rendered by the new year, but I wanted to share a little bit before I hide for the christmas weekend.
