These are the new expressions for the scenes! These are meant to be generic to be used in future updates. You may recall previous scenes had multiple expressions per scene. Well... That takes a bit more time to achieve with DigitalKaiju's art. As I mentioned, I wanted the backpack in the interaction menu to NOT cover the cellphone, that way you can see whether you influenced the gems or not on the same screen with little effort while the gem is still on view, similar to how the wardrobe works.

Just a small devlog this week. We are reaching the final touch for the update, hopefully, so not a lot to say.
That being said; the battle system! Not something to be implemented in this update, but I'm slowly working on it, seeing if it works, how it can look, etc. It still lacks several UI elements like HP and all that jazz, but this is basically it.

And here is how it would work in-game. It's not the background needed for the scene, mind you, I'm still waiting on it, but this is the gist of it. It's only missing the panel to be finalized for this scene to be done. And, of course, the face panel will work to extend all the emotions.

I'm still pretty happy about how this looks, and it's amazing! This time, animated. I think this speaks for itself. The only thing missing is a specific panel with Sadie's expressions, that will be reused through all the other scenes, so the scenes don't need as many expressions each.

I finally made the gift system works. It works for what I need to, the problem is really the presentation. I wanted to do something uniform, you may recall how gems react to their clothing being changed by staying on the screen, right?
