Gonna drill down on some emotions in these next couple of pages, you know before we get back to the spicy stuff. Which is actually really cool, because it lets me practice drawing emotions, but like with subtly, which can be really challenging to nail.

The sketch I was hoping for was selected by the Lifeguard Tier Patrons for September's pinup! I actually wound up drawing this one a couple of times (in pencils) before I was happy enough with it to proceed to inks and colors. I of course made the pose ridiculously complicated, so it's really my own fault. Maybe I was being too precious with it. But in the end, I really quite like how it turned...

I was asked if August's pinup could be cropped for 16:9 aspect ratio, so I figured... why not? It works nicely for this one. And as an added treat I cropped it what makes for a pretty nice lock screen background for your phone. How nice.

I had to get some tones involved with this page otherwise I would have a hard time figuring out what squiggles were alien plants and what weren't when I go to ink it. I think it's shaping up really well though!

There were a ton of great suggestions for this months pinup. It was such a hard choice that it was actually a tie between Raven and Beast Boy and between Miguel, Chel, and Tulio when it came to the vote amongst the Lifeguard Tier Patrons. Since it was a tie, I flipped a coin and it came up Teen Titans!
