Hello everybody! Been working on Even the Wicked like crazy all month. Starting a new comic involves so much invisible work; developing all these little elements of the visual language you're not supposed to notice, like panel borders, on top of the more obvious stuff like how to handle light and sound effects... Exhausting, with nothing to show for it! Threw out a ton of pages and got the style down now, feels like I've got some momentum going.

Nothing like working on IRO where I've perfected my pipeline and I can just brainlessly draw off my storyboards! I'm thinking of kicking off Tome Four on January 25th, IRO's 8 year anniversary... Feels like a long time to wait but I think starting up with a huge whack of pages is more fun for everyone.

PS: Some crazy updates to Patreon lately, even a kind of folder system I've been asking for since 2016...? No idea how it works, doesn't seem to be integrated into posts & they haven't so much as sent an email about it. We'll see!
