Who I am
Hi and welcome to my Patreon page. I go by the nickname of Starcat on the web.
I am a writer of speculative fiction and an indie game developer from Germany. I write Steampunk, Sci-Fi, Urban Fantasy, Mystery and I create Narrative Games with retro aesthetics.
The world is in a crazy place right now and it has been for a year. We’re all in the middle of a global pandemic. Our lifes are shifting and changing and we better get used to that. But I’m sure we will.
There is a lot of negativity, fear and anger out there. It’s so easy to get frustrated. But there is also a lot of love, a lot of support and amazing creative projects have appeared in all kind of shapes and sizes to make our everyday life more enjoyable while we have to watch out for each other, wear masks, stay at home and are unable to see loved ones.
I believe the crisis can be used for positive change. This Patreon is not just me as a creative trying to get by, to create awesome works, but also to communicate with you and share experiences. Maybe we can create a sense of community.

So this may sound a bit crazy now, but for 2021 I decided to take the leap and focus on doing what I love. To write, to tell stories, to create narrative games and to share my experience with all of you.
And I ask you to please come along for the ride.
This will be a great and personal experience. What could go wrong?
