Pool Party (2023)

This gathering marked his annual pool party, and he couldn't have been happier that his two cherished companions had arrived early to assist with the preparations. The main event was still a few hours away, but the excitement was already palpable.
Stepping away from the window, Kyle made his way to the bathroom to attend to his needs before getting things prepared.

“What a gorgeous day,” Ethan stated as he settled into his lounge chair, sunglasses on.
“Totally.” Luke stated, his voice clearly reflecting his content being basking in the sun.
Ethan sighed. “Well, we’d better go in and help Kyle out.” He sat up.
“Five more minutes,” Luke whined.
“Nah, get up.”
Luke sighed before getting up out of his chair following Ethan. The two suddenly vanished as they approached the door.

Stepping out of the bathroom, Kyle looked out of his sliding doors and didn’t see Luke or Ethan out there anymore.
“What the hell…?” He began walking to the door.
‘They were right there,’ he thought as he opened the door.
“Guys?” He stepped out to the patio. No response.
“Where’d you go?”

“K-Kyle!!!” Ethan shouted, as the giant stepped outside of the patio, nearly crushing the two of them as he did so.
“WHERE’D YOU GO?” The giant boomed above them.
“Down here!!! Kyle!!!” The two yelled as the giant remained oblivious to their peril below him.
The two shrunken boys looked up in fear and desperation as their best friend looked around the seemingly empty backyard, not once noticing them down below him at his feet.
