New version

The new version will be released within the next 24 hours, so don't worry.

This month's version encountered a few unexpected hurdles. GitLab introduced disruptive changes to pipelines, affecting GoL's pipelines. However, I identified and resolved this issue within a day. I hope this does not go on like that because the idea of the automatic game distribution is to save me time. The pipeline broke each month, causing more work than manually distributing the game.

Hardware talk: The new character window

The new character window will require vast computing resources since rendering work is intense. Thus, this topic needs careful consideration, especially from a budget perspective.

A fitting rendering server in a data center can be rented for around 300+ USD per month, which adds up quite quickly. However, I could get some second-hand but barely used high-end hardware. So, I decided to build and run the rendering worker myself, avoiding this devastating renting cost and getting the server perfectly tailored to the requirements of Daz Studio. I am waiting for the delivery of the last components to finish my build. I aim to do a test run next week.

I must refactor the communication between the work distributor and the worker to ensure network security. However, these changes should not take too long.
