EDIT - I have now learned that this one and "Blue" basically "replaces" each other in different versions of the show. I will include this in the YouTube video via voice-over.

It is scary and uncomfortable, but Veronica is allowed to fight back. Blue doesn't quite feel like it's taking the situation as seriously as it needs to.

I never liked it as I was used to blue and seen a slime tutorial of the us version. Heathers did a UK tour and we went and I must admit it did fit in better with the stage version if that makes sense. Blue is so catchy though.

It's not that they thought the first song was controversial but they thought it was too catchy / not serious enough about how some teenagers don't see some actions as r*pe. They didn't want to minimize their action.

2024-07-29 21:08:59 +0000 UTCFor just a bit of context - this song replaces Blue in the lineup from the West End (UK) show onwards, since overall feedback was that Blue wasn’t done in the… best taste given the topic. We probably won’t get the original Broadway Veronica singing this song, but definitely recommend checking out some of the added songs in the West End revamp if you’re interested!
