"did she sit on air?" yes pinkie sat on "air" but what is air? can you show it? can you describe it? fun fact casper unless you want to seek therapy remember this phrase "it's pinkie pie. don't question it" seriously it will save your sanity. and while we are on little miss pinkie pie the question "why are they so mean to pinkie pie?" this is answered later either this season or season 2 I am positive it's this season but am too lazy to look it up. ok so another thing and let me state this now. I am a HUGE fan of Rainbow Dash she is the best of the mane 6. dash is horrible in many season 1 episodes (and more later but that's then not now) just remember right now is character development so you'll see great and WTF? characteristics in the characters. also a side note take note of the background characters (screenshot or take note of cutiemarks and coloring schemes) many of them are major characters in the fandom that get bigger roles or cameo's later (mostly detailed background actions). ok so moving on fun fact most the fandom hated gilda after this episode there is an unspoken rule in the fandom "don't make fluttershy cry". you'll see this in comments in the seasons to come one thats already bee done by you is season 1 episode 7.... yeah just read those comments on him. Oh and yes that is a time "pony" not sure how well versed you are on other fandoms/shows but he is officially/unofficially the doctor or as later seasons will call him "doc" and keep that in mind because the show will point this out. oh and lastly yes you just got plot twisted by MLP. dont worry it will happen again in *spoilers*, *spoilers* oh and *spoilers*, oh and again when *spoilers* lol that one was wild but yeah MLP is a great show that caters to adults while keeping it watchable for kids

By the way, she has a little reason to be so annoyed at the beginning of the episode, Pinkie can be pretty "sticky" sometime. -Pinkie Pie is a sort of cheater, she can break the laws of physics and even the 4th wall! She's also pretty chaotic sometime. -About your praise to the animation, they really did something great with just using Flash. And that's just Season 1, you'll see how much they improved in the next 8 seasons! -With "rattler", Granny Smith meant a rattler snake I'm so happy you're enjoying this show, watching reactions like yours takes me back in time when I watched MLP for the first time: the live reactions to the episodes, the talks about them in forums, the high time of the fandom... I hope (I'm pretty sure, actually) that you'll enjoy the future episodes as well. FiM is one of the best West animated shows in the last 30 years!

2025-08-22 13:35:09 +0000 UTCJust an FYI, this episode and possibly a few others in the first two seasons uploaded to YouTube are the US version with the rendering error that washes out the colors (the Australia version has this corrected). Regarding outlines around the eyes, Celestia's coat is close enough to white that it is difficult to distinguish it from the sclera of her eyes, so hers are outlined in black. There's another character in a later season whose coat is white, and their sclera is recolored to a pale blue.

2025-08-06 01:21:25 +0000 UTCThis was such a fun reaction! One note about the animation: all of the ponies are actually rigged 2D puppets! The studio animated the majority of the episodes in Flash 8 and is able to get away with some really fun movements by manipulating various assets separately while still maintaining the signature style and integrity of the show. It's also how they are able to make all of these colorful outlines feasible, as otherwise, it would be pretty labor-intensive on the colorists. This aspect was non-negotiable for Lauren Faust, the creator, as it helped to make the ponies look softer and make the world all the more immersive. The animation actually improves a lot over the course of the show, if you can believe it! Once you reach Season 4, you will notice such a beautiful shift in the lighting and coloring of scenes that are very very indicative of a budget increase. You're in for a wonderful time!

I was so engrossed in this thatI didnt notice the mouse in my living room til it decided try to climb up the couch and scared the crap out of me. Leaning the Metric system was actually part of the official curriculum for the school county I went to. I cannot tell you if that’s the norm since there are over 13,000 public school counties in the USA. each with their own curriculum. but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s super common, since the metric system is so common. also rulers 📏 (at least in the USA, idk about other countries) have both inches and centimeters.

Ponies, by the way, are genetically either unicorn, pegasus, or earth pony, they can't change which kind they are. PInkie Pie is just very cartoon physics and is one of my favorite characters.

But rainbow has a job (weather control) as well as apple jack, twilight is essentially doing the equivalent of a research study for a professor (Celestia) And they all seem to have their own homes - so my own theory is they're all mid 20's if we're looking at them like humans with human ages
