2024-07-17 14:16:48 +0000 UTCI live 12 miles away from where Trump was shot. I pass that fairgrounds regularly, literally just passed recently to drop my car off at the mechanic. I saw his motorcade heading down to the airport. Dozens of news crews are all over that area blocking off major roads. While the lasting impact of this event is unclear, it's absolutely wild to have something almost as historical as the assassination of JFK happen so close to home.

Thank goodness Trump is okay, condolences to the Gentleman who died and the others injured. As for the football, I am gutted. I am kinda tired of all the England hate. I just don’t get it. The line of playful sportsman banter and national dislike blurs too much for me. Anyway, another great episode, this is my favourite daily ritual, listening to you both. 😇
