I thought I'd have the next one ready for tonight, but nope. Once I break the code on what's happening, it'll be smooth sailing, but for now, I'm just banging my head on the desk and re-writing a lot. Yeesh. Hopefully this cool pic of Kimmy will tide you over until the next chapter is ready.
Anyone see any sweet movies recently? I have two relatable selections for you.
Tokyo Fist (Japan, 1995)
The first is "Tokyo Fist", a choppy and kinetic flick, but real stylish and jazzy in that 90s Japan sort of way.
"A businessman, Tsuda, runs into a childhood friend, Tajuki, on the subway. Tajuki is working as a semiprofessional boxer. Tsuda soon begins to suspect that Tajuki might be having an affair with his fiancée Hizuru. After an altercation, Tsuda begins training rigorously himself, leading to an extremely bloody, violent confrontation."
Island of Death (Greece, 1976)
The second is "Island of Death", an original Video Nasty banned for gruesome violence. This is a Greksploitation flick shot on Mykonos. Think my book "Going A Little Too Far," but like way worser. I only recommend this one to those with gastrointestinal fortitude; it is quite violent, to say the least.
"A British couple, Christopher and Celia on a break on a small Greek Island are spreading terror beyond anything the islanders could have ever imagined. Only stopping every once in a while to shag anything that moves, be it man, woman or animal. But will they go unpunished, or will the inspector from London be able to put an end to their killing spree?"

Like the Cherry Blossoms paperback is the max, but I had to make the print small. So I will do a paperback—or maybe even hardback—of 1-3,4-6,7-9, & 10-12.

About an older married couple who go to their vacation beach house and find it ransacked by young hippies. You can buy a dvd at some site somewhere with English subs or stream the Spanish language version free. I feel it's in the same wheelhouse as KT's stories about a husband not knowing his wife and the fallout when the shit hits the fan. The last 30 minutes are tense and good!

Also does anyone know when Six Weeks in Winter is coming back? I loved the characters in that one because they felt tonally different than anything KT wrote before and I wanted to see how much further the characters could be explored. Does anyone know if Devil in the Water the whole series will be printed in book form? Also cant wait for the ending of Reza.

These chapters are so pivotal because they are the foundation for the final book and how the story ends. It will give us a window into how Kimmy will handle resolving this, one way or another. I'm sure our expectations and stated desires in the comments aren't helping. You do you, KT, it will be 99.9% better than what anyone else could imagine doing. I wait for it with metaphorical baited breath.
