The Last Book is Starting Soon
Added 2023-10-18 17:11:31 +0000 UTCI'm hard at work plotting the final book in the Devil In The Waters series, and it's going well. Going better than I expected. There were times when I was pretty sure I'd never figure a way out of this monstrous epic, but I knew I had to hold tight and keep the characters doing what it was these characters do, and in time an ending would present itself.
Right now I'm tits up with Covid again. I'm almost through it, but, wow, there were some lost days there. One day I slept 20 hours in a 24 hour period. It was actually kind of nice. I had meds.
I will be back soon with responses to all these great comments here, and to present the first chapter in the last book. I just wanted to keep you updated and make sure you know everything is falling into place. I suspect I'll have all my dominoes lined up, ready to bring you the next chapter by Tuesday.

Until I read "Cherry Blossoms" the words reminded of John Boorman's Arthurian knights galloping to their doom with Carl Orff's magisterial tune bangin' away in the background... that book alone entitles you to be given a tour around the infernal regions with Virgil or the literary eminence of your choice... now that last bit was flattery... maybe...

I took Paxlovid, the anti-viral med for it, and it prolonged it for me. I also lost my sense of smell for months. Totally bizarre experience! Anyway, rest up and take your time. I’m dying to find out what happens, but we need you well first! This book has been epic. I’m obsessed with it. 🙂
