Something a Little Different
Added 2024-04-02 23:00:05 +0000 UTCI've been working a little on a KT side project. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time and I feel like I almost have the skill for it now.
For a while I've been trying my hand at this 3D thing in an effort to improve. But I'm always more of a storyteller than a nice-image maker. There are limitations with my skill and with time and effort but I think I'm at a stage where I can offer up some 3D storytelling in my KT style.
I tried this a while ago and ran into problems with something called Hotwife: Spain. I will finish that, but it became too big too fast for me so I scaled back the scope and have produced something manageable. When I'm better at this, I will finish Hotwife: Spain.
So this thing I'm doing will be a 150+ image set in sequential form, and is packaged in a film-like manner, using fixed frame sizes and subtitles for dialog. Meaning I don't have a narration style for the storytelling, I had to figure out how to do it all via imagery. I really like how it's turning out.
I'm up past 100 images now, and I will post them as I finish the postwork. I use color grading and some effects and have to add the subtitles. I will post around ten images at a time.
Warning: it is a KT book, but it's a little more on the graphic side. I think I have a place who will publish it for me, and that place looks for explicitness in its works.
If you're on my upper two tiers of Patreon, you get it included. This type of work is intensive and expensive to produce. The cool thing about it is it's something I can do while I write. Once the preliminary setup stuff is done I just set up my shots and render them while I'm writing DITW. Each image takes around 40-90 minutes of computer time.
I don't want to explain the story too much because I want it to work on it's own, so not much of a set up. I'll post the link to the images folder here and you can view them or download them if you wish. (Please, please don't share them, they cost me a lot of money and I'm hoping people will want to buy the finished product!)
So here we go: it begins in media res (I don't think the more visual appreciators of this type of story could endure a long KT style lead in), and these are the first ten screens. They are numbered, and this link leads to a folder with the first ten images. You can start with the first image and then use the arrow on the right side to navigate to the next image.
I really hope you enjoy it.

Now it works I find there is very good cause to say I love it, and its high quality results... I have nothing but admiration for everything you put hand and mind to...

2024-04-03 00:42:53 +0000 UTCYou’re the best KT! How many more books of Devil in the Waters do you think? When can I keep a look out for the next chapter? That last chapter was your best one yet!
