Game sprites update? (Poll)

Hi everyone, thank you so much for your support!

These current sprites, they feel soulless to me and the sprite maker I'm using is limited in options so after some times sprites will start to look like each other.

I always wanted this game to have a 2.5D-ish sprites. You can see on the images below how they would look like. Comparison between new and old sprites is on the first image.

Other images are with character's new sprites in their natural habitats.

What I was afraid with these 2.5D sprites is that they would look out of place, however for me personally they look good. When I was starting this project I had a vote like this, but my community was very small and I had little knowledge about some things which didn't really motivate me to make these. But now I think I'm ready for this challenge.

What does this do? How does it improve the game?

Obviously these sprites in images are just the "starting" phase of this and they will look better (hopefully) since I'll be devoting more time to them. I made these ones as fast as I possibly could for poll purposes.

Pros:

I can make accurate depictions of the characters through sprites. (Clothing and their looks, size).
I can make sprite animations of them doing certain tasks, both the ones you're thinking about and ones like... sweeping the floor for example.

Cons:

It will take longer to make them (since these sprites will have more than 3 frames the usual sprites have because these 2.5D sprites look ridiculously weird with 3 frame walk animation).
