Happy Thanksgiving and a LOT of News

.....Okay, I'm going to admit, so much has happened that I forgot to post anything here about it. Oi, where to begin? The last thirty days are a blur to me.

First off, most importantly: HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Seriously, I know things have been stressful for most of us in real life for one reason or another, but I hope every last one of you had a good turkey day with your friends and family.

Now, onto the crap that's kept be from updating either because I was distracted or because of technical issues.

1. My Uncle had open heart surgery a little before Halloween. He's fine, great really! But it was a hectic and worrying week or so. I was actually planning on going over to keep an eye on him while he recovered, but his wife, his doctors, and everyone were honestly surprised by his recovery rate.

2. Had a laptop scare. Don't ask, the short version is I accidentally whipped my entire history and was worried worse had happened.

3. Got called in for Jury Duty for the first time ever in my life. Didn't actually become a Juror, thankfully, but had to walk there and back on a rainy day.

4. Money was super tight around here. That's not a cry for help, just a fact that it was worse than normal.

5. Minor family issues that everything else feel worse than they are.

6. Cold running through the whole family.

7. Regular holiday stress of getting everything ready.

8. My beta-reader/editor and long time friend finally got a new job, and we're still adjusting to the new hours, including time when he can edit my work. Honestly good news here, I'm happy for him, but new schedualing bothers both of us after a decade or so of the same routines.

9. and probably two or three things I've forgotten in the long run.

This is not an excuse or me whining. This is me stating the obvious: The holidays are nice but that make you go through some crap. To all disappointed by the lack of posts here, I'm sorry, I will be trying to get back into the routine of doing this.  To everyone also having financial woes, you have my truest sympathies and understanding.

And with the new year just a month away, I'm going to try and get back into the game of original content, but that also means I have to debate with myself about if I want to put an M-rating on this patreon.

So, that long list of issue out of that way, I thank you all for the support and hope the world treats you well.
