Situation Update

Hello, friends. This...feels awkward, but I thought I should give you all an idea of where things stand.

First off, thank you all for the amazing support you've given me this month. Given the state of the world, I imagine everyone is having their own troubles.

I'm doing...better, thanks in large part to friends and family. I'm not in extreme depression or anything, much as I miss her. Just been going day by day, enjoying life however I can. My friends found ways to keep me entertained and, to be honest, just hearing my family having good times after everything helped me feel less guilty about finding moments of joy again.

As it stands, I should be able to keep the house for a few months IF the extra money from the funeral insurance comes in soon. With all of your help, and some from my family, next month should be okay regardless.

My aunt is living with me and helping keep the place, but she's not in much better straits than myself. I've been on the job hunt since the funeral- probably the last one in the city before the virus started to explode- but no biters so far. Which the current pandemic doesn't make easier to find. I have a few plans now if nothing comes through or things get worse, but I'm still hopeful things will pull through.

In happier news, I am writing again. I kind of had to, to be honest. Between everything going on, I needed an outlet and, well, lets be blunt here: writing is what I do. For...various reasons, I didn't feel like showing my face on the net for a while, so I now have about four chapters saved up. I figured I'd take advice from some friends and try to create a backlog of updates. I''ll probably start posting them soon, between now and the end of the month.

Sadly, I have not gotten back to either of my Star Wars fics. I deeply apologize on that, its just...I need to be in a better headspace to do those justice, ESPECIALLY the next chapter of Hero of Naboo. Those take a certain amount of effort and dedication I can't summon yet. The chapters I've been working on lately have just been easy to write and work as great stress relief for me. I am sorry and hope you all understand.

Don't worry too much though. I WILL return to Hero of Naboo and Imperium of Vader one day. Likely when, one way or another, my financial situation is resolved. Optimistically, sometime in April or May.
