Probably Moving

I'm probably moving.

Since my grandma passed, the landlord is wanting me to sign up for a new lease if I intend on staying. Originally I was going to. I fought like hell for this place at times, but after a lot of staring at the application, talking to friends and family, its probably for the best to let the place go.

The reasons are many: My hometown is a bit dead in terms of opportunity. My job situation hasn't changed and likely won't. Even with all the money from the insurance, I couldn't garuntee paying this place for a full year on the contract. There are certain....infestation issues that I will probably become responsible for if I did sign it. And I'm getting a bit worried about my mental health. I've been having something approaching panic attacks and have more than a few messed up dreams- while possibly normal for the circumstances, its getting a bit concerning. And there is a certain appeal of getting out of the "black hole of renting" as some friends call it and maybe get my own place one day.

Plus, my mom is willing and wanting me to move in if I want. Honestly? A lot of people roll their eyes or look down on others that move back in with their parents, but....I was raised by my great grandma. This would be the first time I moved in with her.

So, yeah, I'm probably going to give it up to get a fresh start. I'll be straight, my grandma never really loved this house anyway, so hanging onto it would be almost entirely for me rather than her.

Either way, the money from everyone here and GoFundMe will be going to keeping the place long enough to get it cleared.
