References in this episode are Misery (the typewriter scene), 2001 A Space Odyssey (The fridge scene. Notice how the fridge is named HAL 900). Close Encounters (The mash scene and the scene at the end when they put on the glasses, while looking at the partygoers upstairs). Invasion of the Body Snatchers (The "join us" scene. Although I'm not 100% sure that's correct). Raiders of the Lost Ark (When Tim says to Daisy "it's important Daisy, trust me"). There is a video online that goes into detail about every reference from the show, so it might be worth watching after you've finished both seasons.
