2025-09-11 01:57:27 +0000 UTCalso for context to the ending and the move at like 1:00:50 that was the sega mega driver that was the finishing move of "Mad Kurt" Kurtis Chapman, at the point of this match he'd passed away via suicide christmas 2023. Mad Kurt was the person who is the other half of the viral Ospreay clip where he hidden blades him and then beats him up. So that move was a tribute to Kurt and set up the ending with an emotional tie in for the revpro fans

When wwe made wweuk it gutted the UK industry, but Ospreay was one of the few stars who was able to stay around and provide star quality. So when he signed the AEW deal and his schedule wasnt allowing him to do these rev pro shows anymore, they had to pass the torch to someone and Oku was that person, even down to Oku copying what Ospreay did to him by breaking the count to do more damage Funnily enough now we're in a point where Oku is transitioning out of RevPro and putting over other stars on the way out
