Spotify does not work in this release, it will be added back once build issues are solved, if you need spotify support, please use 1.2.7 in the meantime.

I'm having trouble with the following issue: on Windows 11, when using Strawberry, selecting my portable DAC in the audio output settings doesn't change the bitrate, sample rate, or bit depth according to the track. Instead, it always outputs the default format set in Windows. I’ve already tried different output options like ASIO, WASAPI, etc., but nothing helped. This problem doesn’t occur in foobar2000. Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

2025-04-08 10:23:29 +0000 UTCI've noticed that with the "Update the collection when Strawberry starts" preference selected, a scan of the collection does not occur, despite new music tracks being added to the collection folder. Clicking "Tools->Update changed collection folders", and "Do a full collection rescan" menu items don't seem to do anything on the MacOS (arm64) version. Whereas earlier versions (sometime before 1.2.7) would at least update the UI indicating that a rescan was in progress. Also, the "Stop collection scan" menu item is always enabled, whether a scan was clicked or not, perhaps the "Stop collection scan" menu item never disables even if there is no scan underway? The behaviour hasn't changed with 1.2.8.
