Daybreak's character statistics are something I compile for tracking character capabilities, identifying skill growth, keeping power scaling under control, catalog equipment and descriptions, etc., and to simply have fun as an analytical gamer.

This is something I've found extremely useful over the years. Not only is it supplementary material that I rather enjoy creating, it helps me brainstorm things like...

What might a character do to overcome a challenging situation. What existing skills and talents can they make use of?
What abilities is a character focused on improving during this arc of the story?
How would two characters would interact with each other (i.e. what is the likelihood that one character can bluff another).

Furthermore, these sheet help me make sure that no character has way too many talents and expertise for their experience level -- a mistake that is really easy to fall to for character-focused writers.
