Guide: How to get CC and my Sims inside the game
Added 2020-09-13 15:07:48 +0000 UTCSome have told me that they have trouble getting my sims to work. Here is a little guide that takes you through the steps.
1. Go to the character and start clicking on the custom content links one by one. You'll need to download all the stuff from the links to get your sim to look like the one in the pictures. It may seem like a lot, but it is worth it. And most of my sims use some of the same cc.
2. When you have clicked on the link on my page, you will go to the cc-creators page. Follow the link to the download.
3. Some may have several pages to go trough, but I really want to give the creators the attention and traffic they deserve. Click download again to get to the files.
4. Download the "package" files.
5. Copy the package files to you "mods" folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods). If it is a zip-file you downloaded, make sure you unzip it first. The files have to end on .package
6. Go back to my page and download all the rest of the CC, and when you are done, download the sim character files.
7. Unzip the file
8. Copy all the sim character files to the "tray" folder (Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Tray)
9. Start the game and go to settings (top right corner)
10. click on "other" in the settings menu and mark "enable custom content" and "script mods allowed".
11. Start your game, click on the gallery and the character you just downloaded will be in your own library. Note: Remember to click "Include Custom Content" on the left or else it won't show up.
