Yes in order for a Titan Shifter to even get the ability to take another person’s titan, they have to eat them as a pure titan and ingest the spinal fluid and then they will revert back to human form with the Titan Shifting ability. Remember when we first see Eren in season 1 episode 2 he is confused and can't remember much but mysteriously had the key. That came from just recently being turned from a pure titan to a titan shifter. It comes with the loss of recent memories. We of course see the details later scattered throughout the series but it was just a cool consistency note as we now see Armin with recent memory loss because of all the sudden changes. Also note we know what a photograph is but they had no clue. I remember being confused when I first watched it, they don't have cameras. Despite all the amazing gear and weapons they have they are still very simple and haven't advanced technology wise because obviously survival was the main priority. It was sad seeing Eren & Mikasa go through the events of the first episode again. We got a glimpse of Hanes the soldier who drinks on duty and was the one who carried them both Eren & Mikasa away and also sacrificed himself for them in the season 2 finale. R.I.P to him, I didn't fully appreciate him until my second watch either. The Officer who was telling Commander Pixis & Premiere Zackery, Erwin's thoughs on there being civilizations beyond the wall was Military Police Commander Niles. They were close friends, and Erwin's thoughts came from his father. The mission/theory just keeps getting passed person to person. I apologize the version I sent you didn't have the final scene with Grisha & Faye in it. Not sure why it was not included, must be different versions of the episode. I will take a closer look at the remaining episodes to make sure they include everything. P.S. Thank god Sasha has 9 lives cause Shamonda done claimed three of them 🤣😭.
