2023-12-19 01:22:21 +0000 UTCHey, I just started listening to the audio book and it is really helping me understand more. The name that you missed was Shaddid, Captain Shaddid. She's not the politician from Earth. She is the captain of the security ( like the police) for the station that Miller is on. The security company is called Star Helix. Keep that in mind about contracted security for future episodes. Each Belter station that we will see basically has their own contracted security, unlike Earth and Mars which have more organized and official governments and military. And the language that the Belters speak that includes hand signs is called Belter Creole. Great reaction! Shamonda you're doing good taking notes, all I remember when I first watched part of the Expanse was just that I was soo confused. I don't even think that I caught that the Anderson station massacre scene was a flash back.
