If you listened to this week's episode, you'll know that February's print calendar has been posted. If you missed it, here's what it looks like!

You'll be able to get this month's print calendar in the color "outrageous orchid" if you visit the Cinema Club. You don't even have to see a movie -- just stop by and grab one of these awesome collectable calendars for your collection! Want to get tickets? Click here!

The calendar also gives you a sneak peek look at the weeks ahead, but we're focussing on this week at the Cinema Club -- the week of February 10th!

Starting off the week, playing on February 11th at 2PM is Love and Bullets. If you recall, we've started programming "Post Recording Movies", or the movies that Quentin puts on after Roger and I record The Video Archives Podcast with him! You can find a full list of those here on letterboxd, so maybe you'll see a few titles that may pop up on future Cinema Club Calendars!

Even though Love and Bullets isn't on my list -- it was a post recording movie ... that was meant to be featured on the podcast! However, it never made it to mic. I had a Key Home Video of it at one point, but it's been cycled out of my collection. This poster is just as beautiful as that Key video box...

What else is hanging up at the Cinema Club right now? A poster from last week's Barbarian Brothers double feature.

The posters get changed all the time, so make sure to check back on the walls to see what cool collectables are on display.

Next up we have a classics double of Suspicion and Ball of Fire on February 12th at 2PM. This will be a mix of a DVD and a VHS -- and these movies play great back to back ... believe me, I know!

Then, continuing our classics of the week (and our love for Gary Cooper) we have an Ernst Lubitsch double of Design for a Living and One Hour With You playing on February 13th at 7:30PM.

Okay guys -- now the screening you've been waiting for! It's Valentine's Day at the Cinema Club, and we got the perfect flick for you and your honey bunny ... or your gal pal ... or, just yourself! It's Bride of Chucky with co-hit My Demon Lover.

One of the special treats you find when you look through the Archives collection are the unique stickers on the boxes. Let's look and see where Bride of Chucky once belonged to...

If you rented at Eddie Brandt's, you may have rented this tape! How cool! As for My Demon Lover, this one comes from Matt's collection.

I actually borrowed a tape of this from Be Kind Video, so if you live in Los Angeles and want a tape that looks like the one posted above, you'll find it back at the local video store soon ... for 12 dollars!

And to wrap up the week we have something special ... an Andrew L. Stone double of Hi Diddle Diddle and Say it in French. Super-fan regulars of the Cinema Club will recall Hi Diddle Diddle playing the very first week that the Cinema Club opened! It was a great show, so we've decided to bring this title back to the club almost a year later!

Here's two posters that hung up last time this title played. These are both from Quentin's collection. As you can see, one of them shows the movie under the name "Diamonds and Crime". It's crazy how much an alternate title can give you a different feel about a film.

Hi Diddle Diddle will be played on 16mm while Say it in French will be projected from a disc. The 16mm screenings sell out fast, so make sure to get your tickets ASAP!

A week full of cool doubles, interesting titles, and a 16mm presentation! What more could you ask for? Oh, an Adam Rifkin Film Festival? You'll have to wait until the end of the month for that one!

xoxo gala

Speaking of the devil. Gala, You are intrigued by the Paranormal. That's why I'm here. For the past four years I have been having Paranormal encounters with Mr. Robert Johnson, The King of the Delta Blues. As evidence of these encounters I have the 29 scripts that make up the story JOEY O. Gala, Roger, Quentin, if you were to read JOEY O episode 1 THE FAVOR, you will understand. And you will want to join me in creating a limited series story that delivers the full MOVIE EXPERIENCE. So, who wants to go on a ride? (all scripts are copy written and registered with the WGA.)
