The Harden Trade (Notebook Drop)

Woj finally dropped it, and Harden is officially on his way to LA (for a bunch of washed PFs and draft picks).

Here’s how I’m adjusting my projections.

Tyrese Maxey's role is locked in as the number two option in Philly. He gets a usage bump now that we know no guards are coming back in the deal. De'Anthony Melton also gets a similar bump for the same reason.

I’m projecting that Tobias Harris spends more time at PF, which gives Kelly Oubre Jr a more consistent role, so both guys also get a small bump.

The only player coming over from LA who might be fantasy relevant is Robert Covington. I already have him projected to play 24 minutes a night, so I’ll keep it there and monitor what his role is going to be moving forward.

I’m also lowering Russell Westbrook and Norman Powell's usage, and lowering James Harden's assists by 1 (usually when a big 3 is formed, one of them is a big man, so it’s hard to get a read on how three wing dominant players are going to play together).
