NEW: Individual category consistency on Hashtag Basketball
Added 2023-11-25 21:25:44 +0000 UTCHey all - if you happened to have seen my post on Twitter/X from a few days ago (https://twitter.com/josephmamone/status/1727830603519951096) you'll be glad to know that this is now in the league tools on Hashtag Basketball!
Consistency shows how often a player reaches and/or exceeds their average for each category. It's currently available on the rankings and waiver wire rankings pages for category leagues within the league tools and on the main fantasy basketball rankings page on the website.
Example of how the math works: A player has played 4 games, and in those 4 games they've scored 15, 5, 12, 8 (averaging 10 points per game), then they have reached/exceeded their average 2 out of 4 times, which gives them a 50% consistency rating.
When viewing projections and the blend projections, it compares the projection against their output for the season to measure consistency.
Switch CO% (consistency) on to see it.

That’s going to be covered in the next version of this feature.

2023-11-25 22:01:00 +0000 UTCThe definition of consistency I’m using is: the quality of always behaving or performing in a similar way

2023-11-25 21:50:16 +0000 UTCWould love to see this worked into a more advanced match up planner for h2h cat. I want to see which categories and at what confidence intervals I should win or lose then highlight the top 3 categories to start/sit or stream for. Then, if possible, highlight the top players available for those categories and their schedules. Second tier rankings/ tie breakers should be games on low volume nights.
